About

Candy Cane Lane, 148 St. NW between 100 and 92 Avenue NW (December 10, 2010 to January 4, 2011), [2]. For three special weeks in December, 8 blocks of residential get transformed into the ultimate Christmas light display. Houses bring out their best lights and decorations and make it an unforgettable experience. Many people drive the street, but you can also walk as an alternative way to enjoy an Edmonton tradition. It is best to view after dark (Sunset is around 1700 in December) so everything can be seen in action. Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to place in boxes set up along the lane for the Edmonton Food Bank[3], a charity that helps families in need.
