Camano Island State Park covers 134 acres of protected forest. The park has 6,700 feet of saltwater frontage on Saratoga Passage and Elger Bay with one, three-lane boat launching ramp. The park has 4.5 miles of hiking trails, of which 1.5 miles is an interpretive nature trail. Camping facilities include 87 standard campsites, 28 camp visitor parking sites, a trailer dumping station, one group camping area with capacity for 200, one marine trail group camp site, four comfort stations and three pit toilets. Other amenities include a bathhouse, 113 picnic sites, one picnic shelter, a kitchen, 301 parking sites and a registration building. Activities enjoyed in the park include picnicking, hiking, boating, fishing, clamming, nature study, scuba diving, bird watching, rock collecting, and camping. Camano Island State Park is located north of Everett on Camano Island, 14 miles southwest of Stanwood, in Island County. A bridge connects the island with the mainland near the town of Stanwood.
