About

CALA DE SANT VICENT DESCRIPTION Sant Vicent used to be the most isolated area in the island, to the extent that its villagers had to go to the capital by sea if they wanted to avoid several days of journey. However, it has become an excellent tourist resort to spend family holidays. There are many little trips you can do to Tagomago Island departing from here. You can also visit Es Culleram cave, not far from Sant Vicent. Not far from here the visitor will find the tiny village of Sant Vicent and its pretty church, which construction started in 1827, although it was not founded until 1838. The main reason for this delay was the lack of resources, since the area had very few inhabitants. The church has a rectangular floor and is completely unadorned. It consists of the main altar, six secondary chapels, and a small belfry. Its main feature is that the porch is not in front of the temple, as in other chapels, but on the left, in the Western part of the nave. LOCALITY Sant Joan de Labritja /*
