Traditional but very strict quality control. I wouldn't give it high marks on creativity unlike other modern Filipino restaurants like Fish Out of Water (also in Greenbelt) and Kabisera (at the Bonifacio High Street) but as a good starting point in authentic Philippine cuisine this place does the trick. Afterwards there are names like Barrio Fiesta and Kamayan, and the more festive Gerry's Grill.
