About
Buzihütte is an idiosyncratic place with a great deal of character. A favourite among locals, this tavern occupies an idyllic spot on the edge of the forest in the upper part of Innsbruck (about 10 minutes from the bus stop). Not only does the building have a distinctive character, but the names of dishes also seem strangely evocative. The most original house speciality is the so-called, 'Eiterbeule', a stuffed cutlet, which tastes much better than it sounds and is guaranteed to satisfy the most ravenous of appetites. Every Wednesday, the ever-popular Ripperl-Essen (grilled pork ribs) are served. All in all, the food is delicious and the portions are generous.
