The Butterfly Museum of Sattal is yet another popular sightseeing in the place. This museum is situated in the premises of Sattal Methodist Ashram itself and was established by Federic Smetacek, who was also known as the 'butterfly man'. This museum comprises 2500 species of butterflies and 1100 species of insects.
