Bus line number 1 runs as public transport. However, on its route the bus passes some of the most important places in Copenhagen. It goes between Rdovre Stationin a suburb town southwest of Copenhagento Ryparken on sterbro, the part of Copenhagen north of Serne (the Lakes). In between, it passes Hovedbanegården, (the Central Station), Christiansborg (where the Parliament sits), Kongens Nytorv (the King's New Square), and sterport Station, an important traffic junction. In other words traveling by the bus is a sightseeing tour. Tickets for the ride can be bought on the bus, but the cheaper punch tickets can only be bought at DSB stations, Seven Eleven, and some supermarkets and petrol stations.
