Bukit Jambul (Orchid, Hisbiscus & Reptile Garden)

Located on Penang Island in the town of Georgetown, Bukit Jambul Orchid, Hibiscus and Reptile Garden, which is an area of about five acres large, offers a spectacular giant orchid called the Grammatophylum Speciosum, which blooms each year in September. Laid out well, this attraction includes other things, besides orchids, for nature lovers. There is a collection of cacti, hibiscuses, and other tropical plants. You can view many animal species including iguanas, terrapins, many types of snakes, and a tortoise that is over one hundred years old. The park has an assortment of flightless birds like emus and ostriches, and you will be greeted by a parrot that talks. There are two Bengal tigers that have been at the farm for the past six years when they arrived as cubs, and two saltwater crocodiles.
