Located off Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef, an isolated pinnacle known as Steve's Bommie attracts schools of bigeye trevally, barracuda, blue-lined snapper and moses perch. Macro photographers love the abundance of nudibranchs, flatworms, pipefish and other little critters. Steve's memorial plaque at 22 metres and a flame file shell (a carnivorous shell) at 13 metres are a must see. Look for five species of anemone fish at the top, and purple and gold anthias.
