From the Trinity/Diamond intersection at the west end of town, go north on Diamond Drive about 1.5 miles and take a left at the light near the Conoco station and onto Arkansas. Order at the counter from a choice of tasty, slow-cooked offerings such as beef brisket, pulled pork, and smoked chicken, together with a variety of down-home sides like potato salad or cole slaw. The place clearly aims primarily at the take-out market (paper plates and plastic forks), but several tables are available, as is a reasonable selection of bottled beers, including several good microbrews.
