The restaurant is an integral part of the nighttime experience at Blues Café. The venue has evolved somewhat since its days as a purely jazz and blues orientated club. Today the emphasis is on a more stylish and contemporary look, with a soundtrack to match. The menu is international in flavour but influenced by traditional Portuguese ingredients. It's very much a place to visit in larger groups because while fashionable, it's not so intimate. Guest tend to prolong the evening by arriving for dinner and then moving into the music zone to dance the night away – the disco opens Thur–Sat from midnight till 6am! © Nileguide 2011 A different bar to all the others, the atmosphere is very reminiscent of Louisiana or New Orleans bars.The Blues Café is located on the banks of the river Tagus, specifically in the Docas area of the city. An unforgettable night is in order in a very large, friendly place, punctuated by the sound of blues and jazz. Disco opens on Fridays and Saturdays at 1am.
