Bhimili About 25 km from the city and is what used to be a small village also called Bheemunipatnam. Apart from the beach, the village has the remains of a Portuguese church and dutch cemeteries.  The 24 Km beach road from Vizag to Bhimili is one of the longest beach roads in India. The sun-kissed beaches en route make the Car Bike drive as enjoyable as the destination. Bhimili a sleepy little town, is the second oldest municipality in the country and is situated at the confluence of river Gosthani and the Bay of Bengal.
