Bei Restaurant, Building 1, No. 11 Sanlitun Road, Chaoyang District (basement of Green glass building just north of 3.3 mall). Bei features contemporary Asian food, inspired by the cuisines of Northern China, Japan and Korea. Expect a delicate balance of flavor and texture during this culinary voyage where kimchi is served with roast pig, miso foie gras with eel and the likes. The restaurant was designed by the world renowned Neri + Hu Design and Research Office. New Orleans Chef de Cuisine Max Levy at the helm of the kitchen, has trained under some of Japan’s most famous sushi masters. Condé Nast welcomes his "pristine dishes" and "top-notch" sushi, putting the restaurant on The Hot Tables List 2009.
