Beartooth Basin Summer Ski Area .This is definitely one of the coolest, most core ski areas we've ever heard of. It's a ski area made by skiers & riders, for skiers & riders. Served by two high-speed Poma lifts, Twin Lakes Headwall provides 600 Acres of skiing terrain that varies in pitch from 15 Degrees to 50 Degrees. (Steep!) The summit elevation is 10,900 ft. with 1,000 vertical feet of lift serviced terrain. Surrounding areas offer 3,000 vertical feet of shuttled or hike-in backcountry skiing and riding.
