Beachcombers is a very tastefully renovated cottage, situated on one of the finest sites in County Louth. It sits on the shores of the Cooley Peninsula with spectacular views from the Mourne Mountains to Lambay Island on a fine day.This charming three bed roomed cottage, with large gardens and sea views from all rooms, is the ideal retreat for those who value peace and tranquillity. Beachcombers consists of one double ensuite bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a main bathroom, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. The dining area is enhanced by a large bay window, which overlooks the sea. The living area is elegantly furnished and the centrepiece is and open stone fireplace. For your entertainment there is a TV and DVD player. The three bedrooms are all tastefullydecorated with wooden floors throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge. Beachcombers also has garden furniture and a gas barbeque.While staying at Beachcombers one may be content to enjoy the tranquillity of the area or take a stroll on the nearby Templetown Blue Flag beach. For the more active there is a broad range of activities, which include two very challenging 18-hole golf courses at Ballymascanlon and Greenore, sailing, greyhound racing or perhaps visiting the heritage site of Newgrange.
