This is the combination of an American milkshake bar, an outdoor café, a dress-and-tie club and a hectic nightspot. Located in the upmarket complex Aker Brygge, this place is not cheap, but has good food and over-priced drinks. It is full of well-off people in smart dress in the evenings, but gets a lot more informal as the night progresses. The clientele does not specialize in any kind of music, so you hear house, club, techno, indie, alternative and the usual pop hits. The bar area is large and spacious, the rest of the place is not; so it can get a bit crowded with the west-end youths on certain nights. The minimum age is 22. The club's American burgers are famous. All main courses are served in traditional American diner-style: good food and plenty of it.
