Basheshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the prominent attractions located in the area of Bajaura in the vicinity of Bhuntar. This Shiva temple, situated near River Beas, was constructed in the 9th century. The architectural work of this temple displays stone carvings of the period. Yogi-Lingam idol, which is a representation of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is placed in this pyramid shaped temple. Besides, idols of Ganesh, Vishnu and Durga along with the pictures of Ganges and Yamuna are carved at the exterior of this temple.
