Basaralu Temple

Basaralu temple in the Basaralu Village is devoted to the Lord Mallikarjuna. It was constructed during the 13th century by Harihara Dannayaka, during the time of Hoysala King Narasimha II. This temple has a Lord Shiva idol, with sixteen arms, dancing on the head of demon Andhakasura.
