Barbati Beach

On Corfu's east coast, Barbati Beach is a resort where you can experience a combination of relaxation, adventure and Greek culture. The beach is split into two sections. The main beach is a 1-mile-long (1.6-kilometer) stretch of bright-white pebbles backed by forested hills. If you are feeling energetic, rent watersport equipment, such as a windsurfer or kayak. Enjoy a thrilling ride on a speedboat-powered water sled or join a boat tour to less visited bays, including the unspoiled Agni Bay. To the north is a smaller beach, where you can watch local fishermen cast their lines into the Ionian Sea. The perfect blue-green water here is also a great place for snorkeling and scuba diving. Rent equipment and arrange lessons at the local dive school.
