About Baramati

Baramati is a city and a municipal council in Pune district in the state of Maharashtra, India.Agriculture is the main occupation of the people of Baramati. The main food crops grown include sugarcane, grapes and wheat. Grapes and sugarare exported to markets in the Middle East and Europe. Cattle rearing is also becoming an important occupation, as many big cattle rearing projects have been established.Baramati is a well known historical place in Maharashtra.
