Built in 1928, and designed by the legendary Stanley Thompson, the Banff Springs Golf Course is a world famous mountain course. It has hosted a number of professional events in its history, and is also featured on EA Sports Tiger Woods video game (in case you want to try it out before paying full price). It is the most expensive course in the region, even more than Silvertip and Stewart Creek, and to a certain extent you are left paying for the reputation. The course is an excellent facility, and it deserves the reputation it's established.
