Best to go on a Friday afternoon. Can rent a surfboard, windsurfer or kite-surfing equipment. You can take lessons on all of them. Asd the sun sets, the freaks come out to play the bongo drums and dance along the reef. It's quite a site. You can combine lunch in either Neve Tzedik or Yafo with a walk along the beach, ending at Banana Beach before the sun sets. A must see in Tel Aviv.
