The Backroads Trail is a new touring route which profiles the very best of contemporary rural culture and is situated between Echuca-Moama, Barham and Deniliquin in south western NSW. The trail encompasses the rolling plains country between these three towns and features several farmgate enterprises (everything from olive producers to avocado growers to potters and cellar doors) as well as a selection of interpretive panels providing stories and background information about local history and events, farming practices, indigenous heritage, and local flora and fauna.
