Set 2 blocks from the Jet d'Eau on the Rive Gauche, this is a nature goods emporium. Knap-sacks, map holders, flashlights, hats and canes are all here for the trekker, with compasses, binoculars and GPS equipment for those wandering further afield. There is a large hikers book section with walking guides, maps and topoguides for Switzerland and France, specialized books and magazines, posters, maps and paper crafts with nature themes. Look for the CD ROMs with wilderness and ocean themes, atlases and globes and even planetariums, plus a wide range of nature music and videos. Minerals, scents, pottery and knick-knacks complete the azimuth.
