Founded in 1979, the Aspen Art Museum (AAM) is a non-collecting contemporary art museum (kunsthalle) located in Aspen, Colorado. The AAM is currently located in a converted 9,000-square-foot (840 m2) former, hydroelectric plant at 590 North Mill Street, near downtown Aspen. AAM exhibitions include drawings, paintings, sculptures, multimedia installations, and electronic media.[1]
