The Arya Samaj Mandir, also known as the Paramjyoti Stone temple, is the prime attraction of Thanedar. This stone temple was constructed by Samuel Stokes in the Pahari architectural style. The temple has been embellished with inscriptions from the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. From here views of the apple orchards situated nearby are available.
