The historic Arnala Fort is also situated at Gorai and is as old as 1516. The fort has been rebuilt by Portuguese and then the Marathas, thus continuing the legacy of having history associated with it. St Anthony's islan is also another point of sightseeing at Gorai beach since it is an island frequented by visitors who pray at the small but picturesque church located in the island.
