Located in the lobby of the swish China World Hotel, the two-level Aria is a cosmopolitan bar and restaurant. While the upstairs restaurant draws kudos for its contemporary Continental cuisine, the downstairs bar is also worth stopping by. A spiraling staircase, Old World murals, and plush sofas and armchairs add an air of relaxed elegance. At evenings, the lights dim and the in-house jazz singer treats patrons to sultry tunes. Aria features an impressive wine list (with prices to match) and divine champagne cocktails. An additional service charge is also added.
