The three oldest temples in Pushkar, Varaha, Brahma and Aptaeshwar temples were built in the 19th century AD.T he Apteshwar temple is dedicated to Lord Mahadev (Shiva). This is one of the temples that were destroyed by Aurangazeb and was rebuilt soon later. In the centre of the main hallway, is the Shivalinga.
