The exclusive Antonios Markos Athens Boutique has opened its doors at 35 Skoufa Street and Voukourestiou Street. As a designer, Antonios Markos has long been associated as a zenith of Greek fashion ever since opening his first shop with business partner, Manthos Kaloumenos. The two-storey concept store was designed by the architects Judith Haase and Pierre Jorge Gonzalez whose buildings are noted for exquisite light and spacial relationships ideal for displaying art. Chrome, steel, and earthy browns and grays dominate the boutique, but people don't go to admire the progressive architecture as much as they do the serious esign labels: Tsumori Chisato, Lemaire, Jacques Le Corre, Paul Frank, Orion London, Sessun, Zuccca... and you can expect a pretty price tag to accompany the sleek, minimalist displays.
