The Buddha sat still for a very long time, looking at the Bodhi tree from the location of this shrine just to show the gratitude to the bodhi tree under which he meditated to become the Buddha. A small temple built at the place where Buddha spent the 2nd week. Animisa lochana puja was watching incessantly a week at the great bodhi tree by Buddha as a mark of appreciation. That was to express gratitude to the tree that helped prince siddhartha to contemplate and understand what he was looking for realizing. May not be very exciting.
