AMBER is a fashionable nightclub right in the vibrant heart of Zurich, proud to be celebrating its 2nd anniversary (Jan 2010). Fitting for a club of that name, AMBER truly is a gem among the city's nightlife venues. This is the place where stylish people meet in a stylish club lounge, ready to enjoy an atmosphere that is quite unique – in line with the club's own motto "THE NIGHTCLUB FOR PEOPLE 25+". Inside the 200m2 venue the dominant impression is one of urbanity, glamour and spaciousness, which has much to do with the club's location, a stately 18th century building. As well as with the fact that Zurich's famous Bahnhofstrasse – one of the most exclusive shopping destinations in the world – is also right around the corner. In addition, 18 VIP tables and a jam-packed dance floor invite you to have a truly awesome party! To make sure that light and sound effects are up to the task, three factors combine: a custom-made, state-of-the-art sound system, an impressive line-up of Resident and Guest DJs and a lighting concept that is one of a kind: a total of 50 glowing Amber Balls are carefully placed all over the ceiling, each directly controllable by a DMX dimmer, which combine to create dynamic, mesmerizing light effects in direct response to the music. A symphony of light, colours and sound – allowing all fans of House and Club Classics to lose themselves to the beat. Delirious! Delirious is also how best to describe the AMBER's club programme, a series of regularly held special events that go under names like 'Cosmopolitan', 'Friends@Amber', 'Funky Buddha', 'Sunseekers' or 'Starnite Gold' – all of which share the same goal: to keep the party going on. A party to which are invited not only the club's many regulars, but also all other nighthawks eager to join the ranks of the ever-growing AMBER community. Last but not least, there are also some culinary delights to be had. For the 10m long, well-assorted AMBER bar not only serves a wide variety of delicious concoctions with and without alcohol – but also, during the week, Italian antipasti and other yummy titbits.
