Aloomba Lavender Farm Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop on the Mount Lindesay Road (three to four kilometres north of Liston) is within a 4,000 acre cattle property set in picturesque rolling hills, close to Tenterfield, Stanthorpe, 50 plus wineries, five national parks (Girraween, Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo, Queen Mary Falls, Sundown), Undercliffe Falls, orchards. The 20,000 established lavender plants form a pretty pattern whether in flower or not (great opportunity for photographs). Aloomba Lavender, Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop has award winning Essential Lavender Oil and lavender products for purchase. The well stocked gift shop and the tranquil bed and breakfast rooms are very popular. Bus groups and casual visitors are received in a friendly, family atmosphere for Devonshire teas and good coffee. Harvesting begins in mid November. An informative talk is available for larger groups by arrangement. Approximately three hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, they're close to Queensland's Granite Belt wine country and Stanthorpe.
