This casual restaurant along the Dhow Harbor has an old Arabian-style dining room as well as outdoor patio seating next to the water. It's one of the city's more picturesque settings for local and Iranian cuisine. To start, consider a plate of hummus, tabbouleh, and stuffed vine leaves. Local seafood includes lobster, squid, and hammour, and among the Iranian specialties are chelow kebab and kebab Sultani (grilled mutton tenderloin served with saffron rice). If you want a more extravagant Arabian feast, walk across the road to Al Arish, which offers an open buffet for AED 100 ($27/£14) and is open daily from 1:30 to 5pm and 7:30pm to midnight. The same owners also offer a 2-hour Arabian dinner dhow cruise that leaves from next to Al Mina restaurant nightly at 9pm. The fixed menu includes salad and Arabic appetizers followed by seafood and mixed grill, dessert, fruit, and tea or coffee. The cost is AED 135 ($37/£19), and you can pay at the dhow.
