This small, cozy, homely place at the Waterkloof Heights Shopping Centre offers traditional Tuscan home cooking. It's popular, so be sure to book. The seasonal menu at Al Dente depends on the delectability of the goodies found in the produce markets. There are three different carpacci: beef, vegetable and Norwegian salmon. Melt-in-the-mouth dishes include gnocci with a choice of sauces, tagliolini with scampi or sometimes crab, kingklip with tomato, garlic, onion, capers and sun-dried olives, sweet prawns and fresh Italian desserts.
