You will find Alchouf, this Lebanese restaurant in prominent surroundings next to the American Embassy. It is named after a mountainous area in the Lebanon, which is not all that different from Norway, with lots of snow and high peaks. In Lebanese cuisine, the starters are important and generous, often numbering as many as ten. In most cases they are included in the price for the main course, which should be taken into consideration when you look at the price (although of course you can order just the main course without the starters). All courses are served with small, fresh bread rolls (gobys) on the side. The restaurant also offers Lebanese wine.
