Back in 2011, AETHER tapped Paris based designer Thierry Gaugain to help the Los Angeles label create the AETHERstream: the ultimate mobile retail space and one allowing the brand to bring its wears directly to the customer. Repurposing a classic Airstream PanAmerica, the team gutted the 34 trailer before installing 11 reclaimed oak flooring from Carlisle Wide Plank Floors, a custom made sofa and accompanying table crafted out of sustainably harvested wood from Environment Furniture, and a bevy of decorations personally selected by Gaugain from the Paris Flea Market.
