Since opening their doors in the late 1980s, proprietors Nico and Susan Petrucci have made Abruzzi a favorite local destination for authentic Italian. Low light and fabric-covered walls dominate the dining room and add to the casual feeling of old Italian comfort. The risotto of the day is a house specialty and a favorite among regulars who have come to expect many interesting variations. The Ossobucco is served over risotto, and goes well with a selection from Abruzzi's expansive list of Italian wines.
