One of the oldest courses in the highlands, the first nine holes at Aberfeldy were laid on the level floodplain of the River Tay in 1895. In 1993, plans were put into action to extend the course by a further nine holes over the river. dpuf The course has great views of the surrounding hills, runs on both sides of the River Tay and has the unique attraction of allowing players to cross the historic river via its own private bridge, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
