Aaron House is situated in Kinnitty, Birr, County Offaly, close to the beautiful Slieve Bloom Mountains and only five minutes walking distance from Kinnitty Castle. A 10 minute drive will bring you to Birr Castle where you will find the famous Great Telescope built in 1845, the largest in the world for over 70 years. Also close by is the lovely River Shannon and the ancient monastic site of Clonmacnoise, one of Europe's most highly regarded sites of its kind, founded in 545AD by St Ciaran. Aaron House is a luxurious haven for the discerning visitor, with purpose built spacious rooms including king size bed, direct dial telephone, TV, hairdryer and power shower. There is a TV lounge with mini pantry with tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge and free WiFi. Aaron House has a large breakfast room seating up to 14 people. There is a breakfast bar with selections of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, jams and honey. A traditional and buffet style breakfast is served each morning. From Aaron House there are stunning views of the Slieve Bloom Mountains where there are walking trails, looped walks and eco walks which range from 3km easy to 16km hard. Aaron House is Fáilte Ireland approved and has been awarded AA four Diamonds, RAC four Diamonds, RAC Sparkling Diamond Award and RAC Warm Welcome Award.
