Aaleja is an authentic Indian and Pakistani restaurant which serves halal meat and a mouthwatering choice of finely spiced and perfectly cooked curries. The ingredients are very high quality, so the price is a little higher than those at other Indian restaurants in town. The restaurant itself is brightly decorated and intimate. There is no alcohol served, but you can bring your own bottle. The usual appetizers such as samosas and bhajis (fritters) are perfectly made and all the curries on the menu are worth a try. -Alice Davis
