The 64 yogini shrine at Haripur situated around 15Km from the city of Bhuvaneshwar in the midst of green and scerene surroundings in a small villege of Haripuris one of the two yogini shrines in the state of Orissa out of four remaining in India.We visited the shrine in the year2008.It is a circular shaped temple with no roof and a platform near by probably used by the tantriks of that era probably between 9th to 13th centuries who worshipped yogini godesses in expectation of acquiring supernatural powers.
