Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Bagdogra & Proceed To Darjeeling (75 Kms/approx 2.5 Hrs)
- Welcome at New Jalpaiguri railway station/ Bagdogra airport & proceed to Darjeeling, spread in ribbons over a steep mountain ridge, surrounded by emerald-green tea plantations and towered over by the majestic Khangchendzonga (8598m), Darjeeling is the definitive Indian hill station.
- On arrival check in at hotel & evening free for leisure on own.
- Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Feet / 2586 Meters at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Departure (75 Kms/approx 2.5 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Bagdogra Airport/Jalpaiguri railway station for departure, back to home with beautiful memories of a life time trip.
