About the trip

Embark on an exhilarating 11-day journey through the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. The adventure commences in Manali. The following days lead you through the breathtaking terrains , including the newly inaugurated Atal Tunnel, as you journey towards Jispa and Sarchu. The exploration extends to Nubra Valley, driving over the famed Khardung La. An excursion to Turtuk offers historical insights. The journey proceeds to Pangong Lake, passing through challenging terrains, and finally returns to Leh. The itinerary also covers Leh to Kargil, with visits to Magnetic Hill, Likir Monastery, Sangam Point, Ri Dzong Monastery, and Lamayuru Monastery. The trip concludes with a drive to Srinagar via Drass and Sonmarg, paying homage to Kargil War sites. The tour ends with a departure from Srinagar.

Day 1: Arrive At Manali

  • Upon reaching the Manali bus stand, our designated driver will greet you and transport you to the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour that includes visits to the Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, and Vashisht Village. The evening is free for you to explore the local Manali market. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Manali.

Day 2: Transfer From Manali To Jispa (140 Kms / 05 Hrs Drive) - Via Atal Tunnel

  • Today marks the commencement of our journey to Jispa. We will begin by traveling to Koksar and then proceed to our final destination, Jispa. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at a hotel in Jispa.

Day 3: Transfer Jispa To Sarchu (82 Kms / 03 Hrs Drive)

  • Following breakfast, we conclude our stay at the hotel and embark on a journey northward along the Manali-Leh Highway. Brace yourself for awe-inspiring landscapes of the Western Himalayas. The scenery becomes more dramatic as we ascend to the 16,500-foot high Baralacha La, our second mountain pass on this adventure. Witness breathtaking views of meadows and snow-capped mountains from the pass. Upon reaching Sarchu, check in to the pre-arranged camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer From Sarchu To Leh (225 Kms / 09 - 10 Hrs)

  • Following an early breakfast, we bid farewell to the camps and embark on a journey through Nakee La and Lachang La Pass at 16,617 feet. Enjoy lunch at Pang before continuing our drive to Leh, passing through Skyang Chu Thang, the largest and highest plateau on Earth, stretching over 42 kilometers. Traverse Taglang La at 17,585 feet and venture into the Indus Valley. Upon reaching Leh, check in at our designated hotel.

Day 5: Transfer From Leh To Nubra Valley Via Khardung La 18,390 Ft (120 Kms / 4 – 5 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, we set out for Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley takes us over Khardung La, the second-highest motorable road in the world, standing at 5,602 meters (18,390 feet), approximately 39 kilometers from Leh. From the pass, the panoramic view extends south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the majestic Saser massif. Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers, is nestled in the north of Ladakh, between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas, with an average altitude of 10,000 feet above sea level.
  • Upon arriving in Nubra, check in at our designated camp or hotel in Hunder for an overnight stay. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll around the quaint villages to experience the local way of life in this remote region. Enjoy your overnight stay at the camp or hotel.

Day Excursion To Turtuk

  • Following an early morning meal, head towards Turtuk, a village annexed by India during the 1971 conflict with Pakistan, situated in close proximity to the border. Explore a 16th-century mosque, showcasing a blend of Turkish and Iranian influences, and visit the dilapidated Dhards fort and monastery. Marvel at the breathtaking sight of the renowned K2 peak, the second-highest in the world after Mount Everest. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer Nubra Valley To Pangong Lake (150 Kms / 5 Hrs)

  • After an early morning checkout from the camp or hotel, embark on a journey to Hunder. Here, seizes the opportunity to experience a camel ride on a Bactrian camel (double-humped) amidst the sand dunes of the high-altitude desert, with snow-capped mountains in the backdrop. On the way back, make a stop at Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley. Take a leisurely stroll through the bazaar, observing local shops and people engaged in their daily activities. Continue the drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham and Shyok Valley. The road conditions, especially on the Nubra side, may present challenges, but the scenic beauty along the journey is undeniable. After overcoming the adventurous stretches, proceed towards Durbuk and Tangtse to reach Pangong. En route, pass through small villages of Changthang and suddenly catch a breathtaking view of Pangong Lake, situated at an elevation of 14,000 feet (4,267 m). Upon arrival, check in at the camp/hotel near Pangong Lake for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer From Pangong Lake To Leh Via Chang La Pass (140 Kms / 6 Hrs)

  • Enjoy a leisurely morning to explore the scenic beauty of the lake. Later, embark on the journey back to Leh, passing through Changla Pass at an elevation of 5486 meters. Along the way, visit Thiksey, an impressive complex situated on a hill above the village. After a picturesque 5-kilometer drive, reach Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and the location of the 3 Idiots Rancho School. Continue the drive to Leh, taking in the picturesque landscape. Arrive in Leh and settle in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer From Leh To Kargil (230 Kms /7 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, commence the journey downstream along the River Indus on the Leh – Kargil Highway. Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas. A 4 km drive will take you to Magnetic Hill, defying the law of gravity. Continuing through a picturesque landscape, reach the famous Sangam Point, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
  • Before Saspul, a right turn leads to the Likir Monastery, one of the most active monasteries in the region. The drive to the monastery unveils a colossal gilded image of the Maitreya, a recently installed marvel in the open. After exploring the Likir Monastery, continue the drive along the River Indus to Uletokpo or Tingmosgang. En route, visit Ridzong Monastery, with an optional walk for those interested. Tucked at the end of a steep valley, the first view of the monastery is truly dramatic.
  • Continue the drive to Kargil, stopping to visit the 11th-century Lamayuru Monastery. En route, witness the captivating Moon Landscapes, named for the lunar-like formations visible in the terrain. Proceed to Kargil over Fatu-la (13,489 ft), the highest pass on the Srinagar – Leh road. Check in at the Kargil hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer From Kargil To Srinagar Via Sonmarg (204 Kms /7 Hr)

  • Following an early breakfast, embark on a drive to Srinagar, passing through Drass, known as the second coldest inhabited place on earth. Take in the spectacular views of the renowned Kargil War Peaks - Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak. Pay tribute to the heroes at Vijay Smarak, a memorial dedicated to the Indian Soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War in 1999.
  • En route, visit Sonmarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold. Arrive in Srinagar by the afternoon. Upon reaching Srinagar, check in at the Hotel or House Boat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Departure From Srinagar

  • After having breakfast from the hotel, check-out and proceed towards the airport. We ensure a punctual transfer to the domestic airport to catch your flight for your onward destination. Safe travels, and we hope you have cherished memories from your journey.

Terms and Conditions

  • Check-In / Check-out time at all the properties would at 1200 hrs (Noon)
  • The Accommodation is on a Triple sharing basis (General) & Double sharing basis for couples
  • The company will not bear any cost for flight cancellation or delay due to bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger by at own.
  • There would be no refund for the road blocks at Nubra Valley | Pangong Lake & Tsomoriri Lake due to natural calamity. The alternate accommodation Cost at Leh due to the same shall be borne by the passenger directly.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
  • No refund in case of No Show.
  • No changes in the date of travel once booked.
  • Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
  • 25% advance (Non-Refundable) to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation & Balance 75 % 21 days prior to arrival.
  • Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 10 days only.
  • In case the accommodation is not available at any of the above-mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
  • The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, en-route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
  • NOTE: It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.
  • You will have to pay a refundable security amount of INR 8000 per bike. This security amount would be refunded to you after you have returned the bike and final inspection of the bike has been done by our on ground vendor/partner. Any damage to the bike would be deducted from your security deposit. If the damages exceed the security deposit amount, you would be liable to pay the balance amount to our on ground vendor on the spot.
  • If you are unable to continue to ride the bike during the trip for any given reason, or if you decide the leave the bike at any given point during the itinerary, we will have to charge a transport fee to bring the bike back. The transport fee would depend entirely on the location where you decide to discontinue riding the bike. This amount would have to be settled on the spot and could also be deducted from your security amount if not settled immediately.
  • Please note that you are supposed to carry a Rucksack to carry your luggage and only up to 10 kg per person would be allowed. Anything exceeding that would attract a penalty of INR 500/KG.

  • Prior to 45 days or more - 25% of tour cost
  • Between 44 and 31 days of departure - 40% of tour cost
  • Between 30 and 15 days of departure - 50% of tour cost
  • Between 14 days and 8 prior to date of departure - 75%
  • Between 7 days and in case of no show - 100%
  • NIL cancellation charges will be applied should any one of the actual travelers’ tests COVID positive within 72 hours prior to departure subject to QR code.
  • The traveler will have to furnish a COVID positive report dated within 72 hours prior to departure as a proof of illness
  • The amount can be converted into a credit note for the full value with a validity of 12 Months
