Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Leh

  • Get to Leh in the morning by flight and go to the hotel. Have a welcome drink, then rest to get used to the high altitude of Leh (3500 meters). In the late afternoon, get an introduction and information about the tour. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day Excursion To Sham Valley (30 Kms / 02 Hrs – One Way)

  • Post breakfast, we head downstream along the River Indus on the Leh – Kargil Highway. Our sightseeing begins with the Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian Army, near Leh. This museum is a meaningful visit for every Indian, as it pays tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the various wars fought in the region. The Hall of Fame is housed within a museum, created as a dedication to the brave soldiers.
  • Shanti Stupa - is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district, Ladakh, in the north Indian state of Leh. Shati Stupa as know Buddhist white-domed stupa. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura.
  • Leh Palace - also known as 'Lhachen Palkhar,' is a 17th-century former royal palace and one of the central attractions in Leh. Built under the patronage of by King Sengge Namgyal, it used to house his family.
  • Proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas. Devoted to Guru Nanak Devi Ji, the founder of Sikh Religion, the sacred place beautifully commemorates his visit to Ladakh. Dating back to 1517, the Gurudwara houses a boulder with imprints of the head, shoulders and backside of Shree Guru Nanak Dev.
  • A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. This tiny hillock is said to defy gravity as it tends to pull vehicles upwards. It is quite thrilling to defy the laws of science and be pulled in the opposite direction. Local Ladakhi superstition believes that the road is a straight stairway to heaven.
  • As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Indus river is originated from the great Himalayan ranges and Zanskar river originates from Zanskar ranges. Zanskar river is shiny blue in colour, on the other hand Indus looks a little green. Zanskar meets Indus in Nimmu valley from the north-east. This is a scenic view for the visitors and they find it fascinating to mark both the rivers even after their confluence.
  • After visiting confluence, we head to Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Transfer From Leh To Nubra Valley Via Khardung La (120 Kms / 4 – 5 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, we embark on a drive to Nubra Valley. The road takes us over Khardung La, the second-highest motorable road in the world at 5,602 meters (18,390 ft), approximately 39 km from Leh. From the pass, you can enjoy panoramic views, extending south over the Indus valley to the vast peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the imposing Saser massif.
  • Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers, is nestled in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 ft above sea level. Upon reaching Nubra, we check in at our camp/hotel in Hunder for an overnight stay. In the evening, take a stroll around the small villages to observe the local way of life in this part of the world. Stay overnight at the camp or hotel.

Day Excursion To Turtuk

  • Start your day with an early breakfast and head towards Turtuk, a village that India gained control of during the 1971 war with Pakistan and is located very close to the border. Explore a 16th-century mosque, which reflects a blend of Turkish and Iranian culture. Visit the ruined fort of Dhards and a monastery in the area. Take in the magnificent view of the famous K2 peak, the second-highest peak in the world after Mount Everest. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer From Nubra Valley To Pangong Lake (150 Km / 5 Hrs)

  • After an early breakfast, we check out from the camp or hotel and head towards Hunder. Here, you get the chance to ride on a Bactrian camel (double-humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high-altitude desert, with snow-capped mountains in the background. On the way back, we stop at Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley. Take a stroll around the bazaar, observing local shops and people going about their daily activities.
  • Later, we drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham & Shyok Valley. Some road patches, especially towards the Nubra side, can be challenging in terms of conditions, but the journey is incredibly scenic. After overcoming this adventurous stretch, we continue towards Durbuk & Tangtse for Pangong. Along the way, you pass through a few small villages of Changthang and finally get a sudden view of Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m).
  • Upon arrival, we check in at our camp/hotel near Pangong Lake. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Transfer From Pangong Lake To Leh Via Chang La (140 Km / 6hrs)

  • Take the morning at your own pace to explore the beauty of the lake. Later, we drive back to Leh through Changla Pass at 5486 meters. Along the way, we visit Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. We then proceed to Thiksey, an impressive complex built tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Afterward, driving 5 kilometers through a picturesque landscape, we reach Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and the location of the 3 Idiots Rancho School. Finally, continue the drive back to Leh. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Departure From Leh

  • The tour ends with a timely transfer to the Domestic Airport for your flight to your next destination.

Terms and Conditions

  • Check-In / Check-out time at all the properties would at 1200 hrs (Noon)
  • The Accommodation is on a Triple sharing basis (General) & Double sharing basis for couples
  • The company will not bear any cost for flight cancellation or delay due to bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger by at own.
  • There would be no refund for the road blocks at Nubra Valley | Pangong Lake & Tsomoriri Lake due to natural calamity. The alternate accommodation Cost at Leh due to the same shall be borne by the passenger directly.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
  • No refund in case of No Show.
  • No changes in the date of travel once booked.
  • Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
  • 25% advance (Non-Refundable) to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation & Balance 75 % 21 days prior to arrival.
  • Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 10 days only.
  • In case the accommodation is not available at any of the above-mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
  • The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, en-route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
  • NOTE: It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.
  • You will have to pay a refundable security amount of INR 8000 per bike. This security amount would be refunded to you after you have returned the bike and final inspection of the bike has been done by our on ground vendor/partner. Any damage to the bike would be deducted from your security deposit. If the damages exceed the security deposit amount, you would be liable to pay the balance amount to our on ground vendor on the spot.
  • If you are unable to continue to ride the bike during the trip for any given reason, or if you decide the leave the bike at any given point during the itinerary, we will have to charge a transport fee to bring the bike back. The transport fee would depend entirely on the location where you decide to discontinue riding the bike. This amount would have to be settled on the spot and could also be deducted from your security amount if not settled immediately.
  • Please note that you are supposed to carry a Rucksack to carry your luggage and only up to 10 kg per person would be allowed. Anything exceeding that would attract a penalty of INR 500/KG.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Prior to 45 days or more - 25% of tour cost
  • Between 44 and 31 days of departure - 40% of tour cost
  • Between 30 and 15 days of departure - 50% of tour cost
  • Between 14 days and 8 prior to date of departure - 75%
  • Between 7 days and in case of no show - 100%
  • NIL cancellation charges will be applied should any one of the actual travelers’ tests COVID positive within 72 hours prior to departure subject to QR code.
  • The traveler will have to furnish a COVID positive report dated within 72 hours prior to departure as a proof of illness
  • The amount can be converted into a credit note for the full value with a validity of 12 Months
