Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/bagdogra Airport And Transfers To Okhrey
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport transfer to Okhrey via Jorethang. Evening spend your leisure in a beautiful isolated village okhrey. Overnight stay at Village guest house.
Day 2: Hilley To Varsey
Early morning transfer to Hilley from Hilley you will start 4.5km trekking in Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary and experience the valley of rhododendron flowers. Afternoon come back to Hilley and have your lunch and rest for a while. Post lunch you will transfer to Okhrey by car. Evening enjoy the pristine nature with Campfire. Overnight stay at Okhrey.
Day 3: Okhrey Village Excursion , Jungle Trekking And Siteseeing
After having a hearty breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing by visiting Tea garden, Ramam river and valley,Monasteries, Ring rode view point etc. Afternoon enjoy the nature walk and explore the Himalayan village, and get glimpses of Sherpa community and their culture ,Organic cultivation, dairy farming etc. Evening enjoy a pure traditional cultural program along with bon fire and barbeque.
Day 4: Okhrey To Darjeeling
After having a breakfast start journey towards Darjeeling, afternoon visit famous Darjeeling Mall and near by areas. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning, visit Tiger Hills to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchanjunga Mountains, enroute visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia loop. Later visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Himalayan Zoo, Japanese Temple, Rock garden, Gangamaiya Park and the Tibetan Handicraft Centre, enroute you will have a spectacular view of the Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Those who are interested to visit Botanical Garden can go their own. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railways Station /bagdogra Airport
Post breakfast transfer to New jalpaiguri Railways station /Bagdogra airport for onward journey with unforgettable memories of Eastern Himalaya and Rhododendron sanctuaries.
