Varanasi is the oldest and the most sacred place for the Hindus. Varanasi, also known as the holy city, combines in itself the cultural essence and mysticism of India. Varanasi stands on the banks of river Ganga, considered the holiest of all Indian rivers. Varanasi or Kashi is both an exalted place of pilgrimage and a microcosmic centre of faith. A large number of pilgrims visit the holy city from all parts of India and the world.
Day 1: Allahabad
Day 2: Allahabad - Sitamarhi
In the morning you will be driven to Allahabad to see the Sangam (meeting point) of the three rivers- Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati (a mythological river). Allahabad or Prayag is an important pilgrimage center of the Hindus. It is one of the four venues of the "Kumbh Melaand later drive to Sita Marhi, check in and visit Satamarhi & Darshan
Day 3: Sitamarhi – Vidhyachal – Varanasi
Early in the morning take a Bath in the Ganga and Darshan at Sita Marhi, drive to Vindhyachal, Visit / Darshan at Vindhyachal and later drive to Varanasi. . In the evening you will be taken to the Ganga Ghats to watch evening Aarti (Hindu ritual). Overnight will be at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 4: Varanasi - Bodhgaya
morning, you will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. Later in the day a city tour is arranged covering the Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple. After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya.
Day 5: Departure
Breakfast at hotel follows a visit to the Mahabodhi temple and other monuments and edifices associated with Buddhism and later departure to Railways station
