The great river banks at Varanasi, built high with eighteenth and nineteenth-century pavilions and palaces, temples and terraces, are lined with an endless chain of stone steps - the ghats - progressing along the whole of the waterfront, altering in appearance with the dramatic seasonal fluctuations of the river level.
Day 01 : Allahabad To Sitamarhi
Arrival at Allahabad Railway station / Airport and transfer to hotel ( standard check in time 13:00 hrs). A full day excursion of Allahabad begins, Allahabad fort, the Ashoka pillar, temples and the Sangam (meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati (a mythological river). Allahabad or Prayag is an important pilgrimage center of the Hindus. It is one of the four venues of the "Kumbh Mela" and then Drive To Sita Marhi over night at Sitamarhi.
Day 02 : Sitamarhi To Vindhyachal To Varanasi
Early in the morning take a Bath in the Ganga and Darshan at Sita Marhi, drive to Vindhyachal. Visit / Darshan at Vindhyachal and later drive to Varanasi. In the evening you will be taken to the Ganga Ghats to watch evening Aarti (Hindu ritual). Overnight will be at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 03 : Varanasi Bodhgaya
Early morning, you will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. Later in the day a city tour is arranged covering the Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple. After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya.
Day 04 : Departure
Breakfast at hotel follows a visit to the Mahabodhi temple and other monuments and edifices associated with Buddhism and later departure to Railways station.
