The destination is equally captivating in both summer and winter, with festivals and sports events in the warmer months, while winter transforms it into a haven for skiing on one of the oldest slopes in Himachal Pradesh.
- A visit to Shimla’s Mall Road is a must, as this bustling stretch is filled with shops and cafes. While here, you can explore the Jhakoo Temple, though you'll need to take a shared taxi from Mall Road since private vehicles are restricted*. For a fascinating tale, don't miss Scandal Point, where a legendary romance between a British lady and an Indian Maharaja led to the Maharaja’s banishment from Shimla.

Day 3: Transfer From Shimla To Manali (6-7 Hrs)
- After enjoying breakfast in Shimla, we will check out and set off towards Manali, a renowned hill station situated at an elevation of 6,260 feet (2,050 meters) above sea level. Famous for its scenic beauty, Manali is a favorite among backpackers and honeymooners alike, with the Beas River running through the picturesque valley. The town also boasts a number of historic landmarks, perfect for those with an interest in history, while the breathtaking Solang Valley is just a short drive away.

Day 4: Full Day Excursion To Solang Valley With Atul Tunnel (8-9 Hrs)
- After breakfast, we will embark on an early excursion to Solang Valley, which is located 14 km northwest of Manali at an altitude of 2,560 meters (8,400 feet). Known for its scenic beauty and adventurous activities, the valley offers opportunities for parachuting, paragliding, skating, zorbing, and more (available at your own cost). If you prefer a quieter experience, you can explore the apple orchards or enjoy the serene rivers nearby.
- We’ll also visit Nehru Kund, a peaceful spot situated just 5 km from Manali on the Rohtang Pass Highway. This picturesque location, named after India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is known for its pristine spring water and breathtaking scenery.
- Next, we will drive to the Atal Tunnel, a marvel of modern engineering that stretches 17 km from Solang Valley to Sissu. Opened in 2020, the tunnel is the world’s longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet, offering a unique and awe-inspiring journey.

Located near Mall Road, this tranquil site will set the tone for our day. We’ll also explore the Handicraft Centre, where you can admire unique handmade crafts and artwork by local artisans, making for excellent souvenirs.
- Next, we’ll visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, a remarkable structure dedicated to Hadimba Devi, nestled in a cedar forest and steeped in history. Following this, we’ll head to Vashisht, famous for its natural hot springs, where you can enjoy a relaxing soak. In the village, you'll find temples dedicated to Lord Vashisht, Lord Shiva, and Lord Rama. After a fulfilling day, we'll return to the hotel in the afternoon, giving you leisure time to unwind or explore further before spending the night in Manali.
