It was first planned city in India, beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, which were once the residence of Maharajas, are worthy of admiration. Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi airport / railway station-Our representative will meet and assist on arrival & transfer to hotel. Later you will be proceeding for a half day city tour to Delhi to visit Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple, India Gate. Overnight at Hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
Today you will be processing to visit the places in Delhi like Raj Ghat and Shanti Van the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War MemorialArch ). Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra (220 Kms / 05 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Agra, on arrival check in into the hotel. Later in the evening proceed to visit Agra Fort and drive back to hotel . Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 4: Agra – Jaipur (256 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Later drive to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State and viisit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur.-the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace,& the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur - Departure
After breakfast drive to Airport / railway station for your onward journey.
